Affiliate disclosure: how this site makes money

Backup Power Check is free to use. When you click some links to retailers or brands and then buy something, we may earn a commission. You don't pay more because you came from our link.

What commissions do not change

• Power stations are always sorted by the measure you choose (list price by default), worked out from the brands' published specifications for your appliance list. A commission never moves a product up, and brands that pay us nothing are included the same way.
• Products from brands without an affiliate program are included if they meet the same criteria.
• No brand pays to be listed, and no brand reviews our pages before they are published.

What we do and don't claim

We haven't tested these power stations ourselves. We compare the specifications and prices each brand publishes on its own website, each linked to its source with the date we checked it.

How links work

Links to stores go through a short address on our site (it starts with /go/). We count the click, without storing who you are, and then send you straight on to the store. The store or its affiliate network may then set its own cookies to credit the sale to us. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
