Which power station can run your appliances?
Tick what you need to keep running in an outage. You'll see which of the 77 power stations we track can power it all, how long each lasts, and what it costs per usable kWh. All specifications and prices are taken from each brand's own website.
Some brands may pay us a commission if you buy through our links. It never changes the order of results. How we make money.

28 of 77 power stations can run your list for at least 24 hours.
Everything on your list running at once draws about 500 W. Starting the refrigerator (full-size) needs about 1,300 W for a moment. Over a day it uses about 1,826 Wh (an average of 76 W).

Brand doesn't publish a surge rating (4)
Starting your list needs more than these units' continuous rating, and their makers don't publish a surge figure, so we can't say whether they'd start it.

Runtime assumes 85% of the rated capacity reaches your appliances (our estimate for inverter losses) and everything on your list running as set. List prices are each brand's regular price on its US store, checked 2026-11-03; brands often run sales.
Where the appliance figures come from
Each appliance's watts come from a published source, named on our methodology page. Yours may differ: the label on the appliance (or its manual) is the best figure, and you can change hours, add your own appliance, and see the result change at once.
Questions people ask
What size power station do I need for a refrigerator?
A full-size refrigerator needs 150 to 400 W to run and 800 to 1,200 W for a moment to start, and uses about 986 Wh a day. 45 of the 77 power stations we track can run one for at least 24 hours; the lowest list price among them is the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus at $699 (list price on Jackery's store). Fridges vary a lot: check the label on yours and set your own figures in the planner.
How long will a power station run my appliances?
Roughly: the battery's capacity in watt-hours, times about 85% (some energy is lost turning battery power into household power), divided by the watts your appliances draw on average. A 1,000 Wh power station running a 100 W load lasts about 8.5 hours. The planner does this for every model at once.
What do continuous and surge watts mean?
Continuous watts is what the power station can supply for as long as the battery lasts. Surge (or peak) watts is the short burst it can give for a moment, which motors need to start: a fridge or pump can need several times its running watts for a second or two. Some brands also advertise a higher figure for a special mode for heaters and kettles (EcoFlow's X-Boost, BLUETTI's Power Lifting). We don't use those figures, because that mode doesn't suit motors and electronics.
Do brands pay you?
Some brands may pay us a commission if you buy after clicking our links. That never changes the order: power stations are sorted by the measure you choose, and brands that pay us nothing are included the same way.
